Just the right features for my use. I would like the ability to resize the notes window. Wouldn’t mind the calculator being a bit smaller as well. The giant buttons take up a lot of screen real estate.

I’ve used HP RPN calculators for years and always have one handy. With CalcMadeEasy I can pop up this calculator on my computer, do my math, and get right back to whatever I’m doing. I don’t use any of the other features in the app but RPN calculator but for that alone I’m glad I purchased.

This application works well but needs to have a Transparent background for ease of use. When performing multiple calculations with a transparent background the document you are working from could be readily seen making it easy to input multiple figures without having to switch back and forth between applications.

I really like this calculator. The RPN, Finance, and units conversion, are all really good. I use it daily and don’t know what I would do without it. Buy it!

Love the tape, love the interface.

A pleasure to use, because of the big buttons, and things are laid out nice, I have to agree with another review, should have a “transparent” mode, the tape should have a little nicer layout. Also another couple “memory” boxes, to save numbers into. hope more options will be set free in the future, but it is still a very useful app.

Crashes when you try to use the trig functions, just shuts itself down. Wishing I hadnt spent the three dollars on it.

This is an easy and affordable replacement for the extremely lame Mac built in calculator. I forgot what I spent but it wasn’t much. I started with the free version and it was already leagues better than the Mac calculator.

This is a great calculator for things such as investments; car purchase; home mortgage, etcetera. It is, in my opinion, very mac like. By that I mean that it is so easy to use and so intuitive. As a finance calculator, this is, in my opinion, the one to have.

I like the layout and functionality. There are two things it lacks. One is the ability to have multiple windows open. The other is to be able to see at least four positions of the stack in RPN mode. The addition of those features would bring it to five stars for me.

Great calculator, wide range of scientific functions, I was a long time user of TI and HP calculators and this represents them well

How can you have a mortgage calculator that doesn’t permit calculating with the Insurance and tax costs in the total payment? Purchased this and trashed it within 5 minutes. Thanks for nothing. (well, worth two cups of coffee at the gas station) Need to have the notes window open at the same time ase the keypad - as in using a desktop calculator with a tape. Radius of mars in meters is of no interest to me and propably no one else either. Thanks for trying.

I have now downgraded my rating due to the fact that it’s been making me log in to my Apple Store account to let me use it on my Mac. It says that this is due to purchasing it on a different device. I did NOT purchase it on a different device as it was not available on iOS when I bought it. I do NOT purchase any apps that don’t let you use them accross devices without jumping through hoops or paying for each device. Original review below. This is a great calc for the Mac desktop. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it does not have a running tape option. When adding many things or balancing an account, it would be really helpful to be able to refer to the electronic tape to verify what was added. I also wish they made one for iOS. If there is one, it didn’t compare. Had to buy Calc Pro for the iPhone and iPad. Hopefully they will release an iOS version. Can’t go wrong with this app!!! End of original review.

I love using this calculator on my MacBook Air. It works great. Hearing a click on the speakers everytime I press a key on the keyboard helps me keep track when I am not looking at the computer screen. Now, I can change the theme of the calculator and use the calculator for various finances and unit conversions. My wife and I are very glad to have purchased this app.
